Welcome to my website! I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Business and Management Science at NHH Norwegian School of Economics. Here you can find out more about my academic research and check out my CV.

I obtained my Ph.D. from the Tinbergen Institute and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. My research interests include natural resources, development economics, political economy and banking. The common theme of my papers is studying the impact of external shocks on firms using highly granular micro-data, often within a regional context.
